AG construction and developments ltd is the perfect partnership of skill and experience. The business started in 2019 however the history spans many years prior!

The "A" in AG is Alex. Alex started his career in 1990 installing windows, doors and conservatories,  and soon showed he could solve all kinds of tricky challenges. To this day he maintains expertise in this area. Alex progressed into building works and by 2008 was running a small building firm. With his skill, service and ability to solve challeges this firm grew substantially.

The "G" in AG is Graham. After A levels Graham attended a year in industry working alongside engineers, and attended an intense business school. Graham went on to start a plumbing company  serving the York area which did very well and secured huge contracts with Npower and the city of York council. With the growth of this business the natural progression was to start house renovations, again with great success.



In 2019, after working together multiple times which highlighted the complimentary skill set, Alex and Graham started AG Construction and Developments. Since inception we have tremendous success with hundreds of fantastic projects delivered and now 21 staff in the team! Both Alex and Graham are still leading the projects to ensure the foundations of world-class  quality and service are maintained.

AG Construction and Developments are members of the Federation of Master Builders; a prestigious accolade as becoming a member requires multiple visits to customers to undertake checks on the quality of workmanship. It’s no simple task gaining membership and it’s a badge they are proud of!

Social Responsibility

We understand the impact we have on the world, from the materials we use, the diesel we use, to the staff we employ to deliver projects. We take our social responsibility very seriously.

We decided right from the start to offset our carbon footprint generated by getting to jobs and travel in our vans and wagons. To date, we have planted over 2000 trees!

We also consider the materials we use. We don't mandate materials, but wherever an option has less impact on the environment, we recommend it. We also support local businesses where possible.

We also consider the people we impact, from helping to develop the next generation of tradesmen with our training, to ensuring jobs are done to the best possible quality for our customers to enjoy for years to come.
